phpBB3 converter errors
Hi
Im trying to move my phpbb3 forum over to Agora 4 via Agora 3.
Could you please have a look at these 3 errors.
I am running the latest phpbb3 converter PhpBB3_3.0.141 and converting from Phpbb3 v3.08
I run the converter and get the errors seen below. No images or avatars are imported.
I also get the error - The requested URL /j15/components/com_agora/admin_maintenance.php was not found on this server. when trying to rebuild the indexes.
I also get the below error in the Administrator area,

It seems that allow_url_fopen is not activated on your server. If you have access to your php.ini file, this can be activated in that file. If you do not have access to the php.ini file, then you will need to contact your hosting and ask if they can activae that function for your account.
It also seems that there may be a problem with the file and directory permissions, so you should make sure that these are also all set correctly.
If you have the possibility to set the site up locally, it may be easier making a backup of your site using one of the available components (Akeeba is preferred by many) and then installing it locally to do the conversion.

I got it to work using your advice thx. However before you got back to me I tried the conversion from phpBB3 to Kunena (this worked fine), then converted Kunena to Agora. Happy days. Now moving to J 2.5...
