This extension will allow you to create, for example, one module that pulls articles from one category into a slideshow format, while also allowing you to pull another category into a latest news module with several display options into your frontpage body and even continue on to pull other article categories for other areas you might like them to display. So, instead of adding a slideshow extension for one way to pull content from your site into a more visibly prominent location, then installing another module to pull articles into a specific area in paragraph format, etc., you can perform several article display functions with one extension.
